About Shourabh Modi Foundation
SHOURABH MODI FOUNDATION
Our work begins with Shourabh Modi’s belief that all lives have equal value. He thinks all people deserve the chance to have healthy and productive lives. His approach to giving is driven by the foundation’s guiding principles.
The foundation was established in the year 2008 by Mr. Shourabh Modi. We believe in Youth and its Power. Education is the necessity for any developing country like India. Proper education and healthy environment can empower these young bloods. Shourabh Modi Foundation is a public charitable trust under the Shourabh Modi Group.
We have been developing a grant making process that helps us decide how to spend our time, effort, and money so we can accomplish that goal for as many people as possible. This process helps us choose the issues we will work on and the groups to which we will make grants.
We do not pretend that this process is unique to us. We also recognize that we don’t always follow this process to the letter with every grant; in some cases it represents our aspirations as much as reality. Our process is evolving as we get better at choosing strategies, making grants, measuring progress towards impact, and evaluating the results. We are committed to reporting what we are learning at key stages during the grant making process.
Our management committee oversees all the foundation's efforts. The committee meets regularly to ensure that all of our teams perform efficiently and to facilitate cross-functional connections.
Shourabh Modi Foundation is registered under M.P Government (society Act 1978). Our Foundation currently has its official office only in Jabalpur.
Our team of excellent volunteers, who are spread all over M.P are available for any social cause (s) around them. They are our real strength to carry on with the noble service, started by Mr. Shourabh Modi.
We have also started a ‘FREE EDUCATION SYSTEM’ for the students of classes from Kindergarten to PG Level coming from the rural areas surveyed by us around our campus (Sanjeevani Nagar, Agrawal Colony, Adhartal .. etc). Now our present student’s strength is 500 students.
OUR VISION
: To educate the impoverished students surrounding our campus.
: The quality of education been given to the students at their school is not sound and
appropriate under the present education system and family background of the students
hinder them to take private education.
: The ultimate wealth what we have is merit through which we can bring the light of
education among them.
: Supply them with necessary medication and promoting hygiene among them.
: Depending upon our funding, we will provide scholarships to the meritorious students.
Writing over Matchbox Sliders
Shourabh Modi (born on December 30, 1983) of Garha, Jabalpur has written
the autobiography of Dheerubhai Ambani and most concerned matters of
the society, ranging from forest protection to AIDS awareness at the
back of 1,111 matchbox sliders.
My World Record
Shourabh Modi (born on December 30, 1983) of Garha, Jabalpur has written
Shivraj Singh Chauhan (Madhya Pradesh chief minister’s name) 11,111
times over 2778 matchsticks, where he wrote his name four times on a
single matchstick using a jell pen. He completed this task within 30
days from October 12, 2008 to November 11, 2008.
